We use this to store our outdoor cushions and it has proven to be watertight, even in extremely heavy rain. It's a great time saver in that we no longer have to bring the cushions indoors in bad weather and it is very spacious. It's not the most attractive design in the world, but many of the more attractive models are not watertight, so it serves its purpose.
