Contour Bench
Designed for comfort and durability, the Contour Park & Sport Bench is created from 100% recycled plastic. Practically maintenance free, this recycled plastic bench includes a UV protectant that will keep the plastic looking great even after years of use. A heavy powder-coated structural steel frame, attached with zinc-coated hardware, adds weight and will keep this Contour Park & Sport Bench in place.
With two mounting styles to choose from, this bench offers versatility for residential and commercial use. The standard mount has square steel plates with pre-drilled holes at the bottom of each base for surface mounting. The in-ground mount does not have the square plates on the bases, but the bases are 18 inches longer for permanent ground installation.
There will be no need to spend your valuable time painting either. The 2-inch by 4-inch recycled plastic slats are offered in a variety of colors and are enhanced with a natural wood grain texture. The item above is shown in the cedar color with the standard mount.

These benches are all along the parks/trails that I run on. They are comfortable, durable and easy to clean. Plus they are environmentally-friendly.

Q1: Does this have to be mounted?
A: The Contour bench must be mounted in one of two ways. It can either be surface mounted by inserting bolts into a stable surface through the pre-drilled holes on the bases, or it can be permanently installed into the ground using the in-ground bases. The in-ground bases do not have the square steel pieces at the bottom, but they extend another 18 inches for ground installation.
Q2: I want to put some benches in a park. If you mount these in the ground, can they be stolen? I haven't worked with benches before.
A: When you choose the in-ground mount you will need to bury the poles into the ground using cement.
