We have located the bench in a wooded meditation area overlooking a stone patio and dry-stack stone wall and stone bench. The design seems to go with any setting. It sits under two trees and, so far, hasn't developed any cleaning problems. It is quite comfortable, even without a seat cushion. I did get two throw pillows (from Hayneedle) that are quite comfortable with it. We may not need a seat cushion. So far, we haven't noticed any negatives.

I was so excited to get my Verona Garden Benches quickly after ordering! I then got sick and had to wait to assemble. I had a little trouble due to poor design or faulty, but soon figured the back fit better with the curve on bottom. Still didn't line up well, and then the bolts that belonged on back were too short. Someone placed 8 short bolts instead of 4 short, 4 long. I looked at local stores to find replacements to no avail. Second bench, yay! Correct hardware, but designed poorly so that by the time I forced the bolts into the back, the remaining one would not reach through at all and there is a huge gap. Tried finding a longer screw in same but none available. So now I have two benches, one with no back and one with a back not safe to lean back on one side. Really bummed...looks like other's were better designed so I am envious of you and hope I can get a replacement or find appropriate hardware so I can use my pretty benches...

      I got the package when they told me it would be here! It was easy to put together, I did it myself! It is very sturdy and very attractive too.
      I am sure I will enjoy this bench for a very long time! The price was very affordable too. Also very comfortable to sit on, no need for a cushion.
