I am using this around my swimming pool along with another bench I purchased here. I needed a backless bench in one particular area as anything more would have cluttered the landscape in the area where additional seating was needed. You will see from the photo. It looks terrific & it is on the opposite of the pool where the 1st bench is situated. I applied linseed oil to the wood and it has a beautiful finish.

Poor quality construction
I've only had this bench several months and it's already split and the seat supports are broken. This is a very low quality bench and not worth the money.

Bench arrived as planned, some discrepancy in stain finish but nothing that's a show stopper. Bench is solid and is perfect for the placement we purchased it for. We will let it weather for a few weeks and then seal.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. The material is a hard or dense, redwood colored wood. It matches perfectly with my house siding. The design is simple, yet has the looks of real quality. Assembly is straight forward, even has necessary tool provided. The price, which included shipping, was very reasonable. Overall, I am very happy.

Some screws not counter sunk deep enough, screws pulled loose.

Easy to assemble but they give you two wrenches because they strip very easily. Wood not sanded very well so be careful of splitters. Not what I expected. Sad :(
