Bench was pretty much what I expected. Easy to assemble and solid, no "fake" wood. The directions say the weight limit is 180 lbs....I'm sure it will hold more than that. Not super comfortable, but I expected that...good enough to sit and put shoes on.
Hayneedle has been very good to order products from. I've ordered items from other online retailers which have been nightmares.

The bench is exactly what I expected with the exception of the color. A little more red in it than I expected for espresso.

I used this product to complete a wall next to the fireplace. The color blends well with my other decor in the room. I also have a end table the same color as the bench.
