I like the bench- very sturdy and attractive- but I was looking for a bench that did not have a bar on the front because I wanted to keep my cat's litter box underneath it. This picture makes it appear as though this bench does not have a bar, but, in point of fact, it does. In fact,after I received the bench, I looked at photos of this same bench on other websitnd all of them clearly show the bar. I ended up making it work but I would not have picked this bench had to picture been more honest.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
