I agree with many of the previous comments. I had to buy and use longer screws than those provided, otherwise some of the parts would not have held together. It's a nice-looking and functional piece of furniture once assembled. FYI - I paid about $250 for it new in May 2010.

Instructions called for three sizes of screw but one was provided. Unit was flimsy during construction but ended up as fairly sturdy. Lid supports are too short and do not allow the lid to open more than 30 degrees.

The instructions pictures should be larger and instructions broken down to smaller steps.Had to mix a craft paint to touch up the small chips and damages that appeared.The product is very attractive though, with a beautiful design.

the instructions were terrible and the material quality was poor. the screws striped out very easily and the cam screws had to be left loose for the cam to catch them.

I like the storage for shoes, the appearance is nice and good use for a summer home.
