You get double duty out of this product because not only is it designed to store your shoes, but it also serves as a bench, and a place to put your shoes on. Constructed of wood and finished in white, this cubbie bench has room for up to 18 pairs of shoes. Each cubbie is large enough to hold up to a men's size 13 shoe. That's spacious storage. Each cubbie measures 6.75W x 13.75D x 5.5H inches.

Most of Prepac's RTA products are made from a combination of "engineered woods." Engineered Wood is a mixture of high quality hard and soft wood materials, which generally come from the surplus of original lumber processing. These materials are bonded together with a synthetic resin, in a process under high heat and pressure to make a very stable, environmentally friendly product. The result is dense, strong panels, which are then laminated with durable, attractive finishes.

Products are Flat Packed (Ready to Assemble) and complete assembly is required. Each unit comes with detailed assembly instructions and one person can assemble most of them in well under an hour.
We recommend that you simply wipe your units with a clean, damp cloth, and then dry immediately with another clean cloth to maximize the life span and appearance of your product. This product has a laminate finish, and should not be painted or varnished. If liquid is spilled and quickly wiped up, no damage will be done to your unit. However, continuous exposure to liquids or high humidity may cause damage to the board.

I half expected this to be flimsy, for the kind of thing it is, but it's very substantial, with that attractive trim at the bottom. One warning: be careful that you assemble the shelf inserts the right way, or the top row will come out looking smaller, being covered by the lip of the top. The directions aren't quite specific enough, relying on illustrations primarily. Overall, a satisfactory purchase.

Acceptable materials for price. Construction could be sturdier, especially could use support for middle of bench top. Exposed fasteners on sides, with plastic covers.

Great bench and storage, just wish the cubbies were bigger to accommodate bigger sized shoes (size 9 +). End up using 2 cubbies for 1 pair of shoes. Still, it's better than having 6 pair of shoes strewn about the floor! Pairs well with the matching lockers. Very easy to assemble.
