Q1: Can you please describe the quantity, material, size and shape of the ground mounting anchors?

A: There is one anchor for each post, so there are four. They are 2 x 2 x 14, and they are made of white PVC, just like the arbor.

Q2: How are the anchors installed?

A: The anchors are pounded into the ground first, and then the posts of the arbor fit inside the anchors. Screws are then added to secure the posts to the anchors.

Q3: If the anchors are 2x2 and the posts fit inside of them, does that mean the arbor posts are smaller than 2x2?

A: The post dimensions for the Country Vinyl Arbor are 2 x 2 x 65. The ground anchors are only slightly wider at the end that the posts fit into. The majority of the ground anchor is 2 x 2 inches.

This arbor is constructed of high grade PVC Vinyl that carries a 20 year warranty. It is durable and maintenance free. UV stabilizers protect the vinyl from harmful ultraviolet rays, so it will not fade over time. As an additional bonus, this arbor will never need painting. This product comes completely fabricated with it being cut to size and with all holes pre-drilled. All you have to do is put the pieces together with simple-to-understand instructions and drawings, and secure with screws and bolts that are provided. Anchor stakes for added stability are also included.

Dura-Trel, Inc. products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects resulting in delaminating, peeling, flaking corroding, cracking, or extreme amounts of fading or bleaching causing the PVC to change to its natural color for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase, This warranty does not cover: A. physical abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper storage. B. Improper installation or installation contrary to the written Dura-Trel instructions. C. Items that have been painted, varnished or coated with any sunstance. D. Shipping damages. E. Damage attributable to atmospheric pollutants, hail, lightning, hurricane. tornado, wind borne objects, earthquake, fire, mildew, casualty, act of God, building or ground settlement, or subjection to stress or weight. Dura-Trel will replace the material containing the defect less shipping costs. All claims must be made within 30 days after the defect was first discovered.

Return & Exchange Policy

If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition, and in its original packaging. This product is subject to a restocking fee if returned for reasons other than damage. A credit will be issued upon proof of return shipping and inspection of the item less a 20% restock fee and any return shipping costs. The restock fee may be waived if exchanging for another item of same or greater value.
