Q1: Can you use a color stain on the chairs?

Q2: I just purchased the mahogany adirondack chair. It is on my deck during the summer. I noticed the wood has faded since being in the rain. How can I protect the wood?
A: Our maintenance and care instructions, located in the Specifications tab, provide some tips for getting the look you want for your Adirondack chair. The following is an excerpt that will help to answer your question.
Maintaining the natural color: The Mahogany Adirondack Chair comes with a boiled linseed oil finish. If you prefer to maintain the natural beauty of the Mahogany wood enhanced by the Boiled Linseed Oil finish we recommend a periodic maintenance application of Boiled linseed oil. Boiled Linseed Oil, Teak Oil or name brand deck water proofing containing UV protection are suitable finishes. Apply using a multi-purpose spray bottle and wipe off excess oil with a cloth. Applying the oil will ensure the furniture is protected from color fading UV rays and its appearance maintained. A periodic application is recommended as weather conditions indicate for your area. Note: We like to remind you to please read all instructions on the label of the oil you use and follow proper procedures for discarding rags.
Q3: What is the height of the back of the chair?
A: 32" from seat to top of back.
